Intel Windows options

As you may know, all Intel Macs are capable of running Windows. Which means of doing so do you prefer, partition (boot camp), where one needs to reboot to access the other OS, or Virtualization (Sun VirtualBox, VMware Fusion, Parallels, etc), where you run both side by side, but it is slightly worse for video editing or gaming?

I only have a Windows OS on here because for college I did things that required a Windows OS, and it was easier to just run it in a virtualization. Especially given that I didn't really feel like doing Boot Camp or anything like that. I have no real intention of playing games, or doing anything severe on my VMs, mostly because it would be a waste and if I wanted to do one of those that badly, my girlfriend has a Windows computer.

I don't really play PC games anyway.
